Description

Rose calcite(Formula: CaCO₃) crystallizes in the rhombohedral crystal system, but it often forms in massive or fibrous aggregates rather than perfect crystals. Rose calcite is typically found in sedimentary environments, often in limestone or marble deposits.  It forms through chemical precipitation in cavities and hydrothermal veins. Black tourmaline crystallizes in the trigonal crystal system, often forming prismatic or columnar crystals. The two symbiosis, like a rose blooming on the cliff, beautiful and proud. Because of its unique shape, collectors like it very much.
