Pink calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral (CaCO₃), and like all forms of calcite, it is crystalline in nature, typically forming in rhombohedral crystals.Pink calcite, often referred to as rose calcite, is a beautiful pale pink to rosy pink variety of calcite.  The color can range from soft, light pinks to deeper rose hues, depending on the presence of trace elements or impurities within the mineral. Pink is rare color. It can glow in hues of orange when exposed to UV light, which adds to its aesthetic appeal.
